<p><strong>-Eating better.</strong><br />
Our diets are all out of balance. We eat too much artery clogging red meat and unhealthy fats but not enough good fats, vegetables, fruits and fiber. We never think about a healthy glass of red wine with our meal but will guzzle down cheap booze at a party every chance we get.</p>
<p><strong>-Getting Some Exercise.</strong><br />
Remember the old days, when you had to get up to change the channel on the television or answer the telephone? Now we don’t even get that. We sit in our lounge chairs with a remote in one hand and the cell phone in the other . Get up, get out. It doesn’t have to mean going to a gym and practically killing yourself, in fact, it should NOT mean that at first, anyway. Take a walk. Rescue a pooch from the pound or borrow the neighbors pug and go around the block a time or two.</p>
<p><strong>-Add heart healthy plant sterols to your diet.</strong><br />
The recommended amount of plant sterols is .8 grams per day. While you can get this from a number of food sources, you may find it easier to get with MonaVie Pulse which contain .4 grams per 4 ounce serving. Two servings of the juice or two packets of the gel is equal to the heart healthy plant sterols that you need to help reduce your blood cholesterol levels.</p>

When you are resting, it can slow; when you are excited it can speed up. Regardless of what  you are doing, whether you notice it or not, your heart is beating. Knowing how crucial our heart is to our lives, it should be easy to understand why we need to take better care of it, but we do not. We eat too much and we eat the wrong foods. We do not exercise nearly enough. We get stressed out over nearly every single thing. No wonder so many of our ticking time bombs, waiting for our heart to finally give up and explode. </p>
<p>Every pound of weight that we gain adds more strain to our heart. Every day we spend seething and loathing our boss and fighting through rush hour traffic is slowly killing our heart. Every negative that we go through can be bad on our hearts, but what about the good that we can do for it? While we cannot all quit our jobs and spend the day painting seascapes on the beach, we can take a little better care of the organ that keeps us going. </p>
